Façade, Lorraine Sisco’s fifth directorial effort for Ninn Worx is a highlight in her growing filmography. It elevates itself as a series of scenes bound to a narrative. In this case, the plot revolves around an heiress with time and money to burn who visits an analyst to discuss her sexual obsession (or perhaps, to play yet another erotic game… yeah, that could be it, but do we really know???). Yes, this is a porn cum art film, that makes up in filthy, dirty sex what it lacks in total polish. But really, who wants Oscar night acting when they are firing up the DVD player for a handful of tugalottajunk, or to kick start an evening (or morning or afternoon) of passionate pleasures with a partner?
Not me.
This flick delivers polished production and composition of a quality not often found in the Pandora’s Box of filth flicks I find at my doorstep after a Rancho Carne delivery. Sex oozes like the first drops of lube out of a tight sphincter out of each scene – high fashion meets high eroticism. Mika Tan takes the starring role and brings an interesting flair for drama to porn. Arguably, her style seems more theatrical than film, a stylistic notion that tends to repel this reviewer, but when the scenes transition from thespian to lesbian, she pulls the viewer right back in. And that starts with the first scene.
But wait. I’ll leave the detailing of each scene to other reviewers – Façade is a composite, pieced together with five steaming scenes featuring Mika Tan, Daisy Marie, Nikki Benz, Alexis Love, Kaiya Lynn and Jenaveve Jolie (as well as the hung studs Otto Bauer, Scott Nails, Jean Val Jean, Ben English, Jerry and Barry Scott) – and as a whole, it merits multiple viewings.
Like Crescendo and Clique, Façade delivers Lorraine’s unique take on sensuality and smut. With well staged, well shot filth like this, you can’t help but stop tugging to admire the quality. Crisp shots, creative costumes, and plenty of cunt, cum and cock to go around. Sure – skip the story to get to the smut, but you simply can’t ignore the extra effort that goes into Lorraine Sisco’s films.
